I use Spyfu for three things:

It's also weak on technical SEO. There's no site audit, no crawl analysis, no structured data testing. If you need to find broken links or duplicate content, Spyfu won't help.
Country coverage is another issue. Spyfu works well for US and UK markets, but I've found it spotty for smaller countries. If your audience is in Germany or Japan, check the data before relying on it.
Finally, the backlink analysis is basic. You can see a few backlinks, but it's nowhere near as deep as Ahrefs or Majestic. Don't use Spyfu for link building.
